Buyer Services 36 Fashion Market Northern California® ADMISSIONS POLICY: Attendance at the Fashion Market Northern California® is restricted to owners and buyers in the retail trade engaged in the sale of women's and children's apparel or accessory items. Three forms of business identification are required. Potential store identification includes: 1) Copy of your retail sales license. 2) Copy of your sales tax number. 3) Company letterhead for your store. 4) Company business card. The Show Management, in some cases, may ask for additional identification. Please be prepared to provide this information. Note: Two guests per store are allowed. Guests must be accompanied by a buyer at all times. Buyer badges are nontransferable. Persons found posing as buyers or using false identification will be escorted from the Market. Registration Hours: Sunday, January 28 8:30 am – 5:30 pm Monday, January 29 8:30 am – 5:30 pm Tuesday, January 30 8:30 am – 3:30 pm ANIMALS: San Mateo Health Department regulations do not allow animals in the building, with the exception of seeing eye or service animals. Please leave your pets at home. CHILDREN: Children under the age of 12 will not be allowed in the show area. Infants in front packs or in strollers are the only exception. I.D. BADGES: I.D. Badges must be worn at all times when in The San Mateo Event Center. MARKET SECURITY: All facility entrances will be staffed by personnel instructed to require current badge identification. Please register upon arrival so your entrance will not be delayed. SMOKING POLICY: The San Mateo Event Center is a smoke-free facility. Please do not smoke anywhere in the building including bathrooms and doors to the outside. Please move at LEAST 20 feet from any doorway to the building.
